Overnight Work on Greenwich Street, Sansome Street to Battery Street
Sewer lining work will start on a portion of the existing sewer main on Greenwich Street. The re-lining work will occur on Greenwich between Sansome and Battery streets. Due to the scope of work, the re-lining work needs to be completed overnight. The work hours will be 4 PM until 1 AM. Work is scheduled for Monday, January 18, 2021 and Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
Impacts:
Residents may detect a faint nail polish-like odor from the lining process. This may be experienced by neighbors living near the manholes during insertion of the liner material into the sewer main. The chemical odor typically fades after a few minutes.
Impacts during this phase of work may include temporary street parking restrictions, dust, noise from generators and trucks and focused project lighting while work is underway.
